Ridiculous!

Since having Adam, I have not been on any type of birth control. I had planned to get the IUD Mirena but my insurance won't cover it and I am really not good at taking pills everyday. So today I decided to call to see how much it would be without insurance for the IUD. Talk about re-dang-diculous! $740!!!! I guess I'll just have to wait for my husbands work to get their heads out of their butts and get better insurance!

HOLY CRAP!! That really sucks!! It seems like in the last few years birth control is not covered as well on insurance plans. Good thing I don't have to worry about it anymore!!

I knew it was about that much. Surprisingly, our insurance covered it 100%. I only had to pay a $25 office visit copay. I was totally surprised that they covered it so well.

My insurance covered it too, but I hated mirena! I was part of the 1% who don't react well. I guess that's why I'm pregnant again! Have you seen if your insurance will cover the nuva ring?

The nuva ring is a good idea. You should look into it. The patches might be a good idea too. I think you have to change them once a week or something like that.

My Dr's office said the insurance company will only cover oral contraceptions :(

Hey girlie, I stumbled over here. Don't do the patch I had two friends get pregnant on that... my sister liked the nuva ring though...
