This Saturday, along with a few neighbors, we are having a yard sale. I'm hoping we get a good turn out so we can make a little bit of money. We really need some extra cash for Adam's birthday and for all the little getaways we plan on taking this summer. If you would like to come then please text me for the address 801-867-2540
On another note, we were accepted for the supplemental maternity insurance. But denied for major medical. :( I should have kept my mouth shut about having bi polar disorder 4 years ago, then we would have been able to get it. Oh well... I'm just gonna take it as a blessing in disguise maybe? We could get other insurance but it would be 200 bucks, just for me! No thanks! I'm not paying 200 just for myself plus the 145 for maternity. We'll probably just get insurance for Adam but I am really in a bind. Adam's 12 month check up is on the 27th of this month. If we were to get insurance for Adam, it wouldn't be effective until June 1st. Now I could try and get his appointment pushed back, but I really don't want one more thing to worry about. We have so much going on and I just know I'd forget about it if we were to change the date. Plus who knows if he could even be seen the week after. They are always really busy and they like their appointments to be really close to their birthday. Aaahh! I don't know what to do! Pay 140 dollars for his scheduled appointment or reschedule for the week after and pay the 57 a month to have Adam insured and a 25 dollar co pay. I just don't know if it's worth the hassle of filling out a whole new application and trying to schedule his dr app for a week later!

It's absolutely best to FULLY disclose all medical conditions/history when applying. Otherwise, if found out later, the company could decide to revoke your coverage because of fraud. i.e lying. Imagine if that were to happen in the middle of a pregnancy and you then didn't have the insurance you thought you would have for delivery. Now, that would be bad.
Are you able to get him on CHIP? It's based on income, and is extremely affordable. I am not sure about the coverage, but I think it's pretty good.
No :( We don't qualify. Rusty makes too much. If I were pregnant then we probably could qualify.
You may not qualify if you don't qualify for CHIP, but adults can enroll in PCN. There is an open enrollment window now until May 24. Check it out if you qualify.

For Adam my vote would be to change his appointment. He's not going to significantly change in one week's time. A 1 yr old is the same as a 1yr and 1 week old. Make the dr.s work for you, not the other way around.
For the yard sale, wear an apron with change in the apron pocket. Then the people will know who to pay and you'll have it all there and ready.
